You may contact the nearest Malaysian embassy/consulate or search in the Internet. Hopefully you 'll get some info.
2 :
you can find it at this web site. Sarawak Bagus!
3 :
See here: http://answers.yahoo.com/question/index;_ylt=Avp.a0Zpg2eMFiqkMSnax38P7RR.?qid=20070822103435AASPZAz The question is not which universities are good to study medicine, but which universities have opened their medical stream for international students. SaraBagus mentioned Unimas... Its medical stream isn't open for international students, like most of Malaysian universities, and on top of that Unimas is one of the worst places in Malaysia to study medicine. IIUM is open for foreign students for sure, but it's a private university so you'll have to bear with the costs.
4 :
international medial university in bukit jalil minimum = 50k RM per year maximum = 75k RM per year
5 :
Fakulti Perubatan Ijazah (Doktor Perubatan) Period of Study : 5 years Fees : Approximately USD 9000
6 :
Go to www.monash.edu.my Monash University Malaysian campus in Bandar Sunway, but when you get your degree it just says Monash University so it is the same as the one you get after 5 years of study in Melbourne, Australia. Slightly cheaper than IMU (International Medical University) in Bukit Jalil. It is around RM60,000 a year at Monash, if unsure just check the website I gave above. Once you enrol, the fees are fixed for your entire course. There are two semesters a year, 3.5 months per semester. The new campus was completed in June, medical faculty is spanking new. However, you can stay in the hostel although I do not recommend it due to high rent but curfew where you must return by 12a.m. You aren't allowed to cook in hostels and the food sucks at the same time it is very expensive - so might as well cook yourself, or eat in shops near your apartment.

What is the best Internet Service Provider in Malaysia?

What is the best Internet Service Provider in Malaysia?
I'm a student at Sunway University College and I would like to register for a phone line and an internet connection, can anyone tell me what the best companies are? and how can I get in touch with them? I live in Lagoon View, they don't have internet here. I have a signal from somewhere, but it's driving me crazy. it's very unstable and sometimes it doesn't work at all for hours. So I decided to have my own connection. By the way, I'm BITC 1st Sem. here is my e-mail add in case you wanna keep in touch Samir2677@yahoo.com. See Yah!

hey im a sunway college student too.. taking CIMP, wat about u? well, the best one is Streamyx, but they suck too. get to the nearest TMpoint in taipan.. its not too far from college. but the indian taxi drivers usually charge rm10 one way.. u can try MAXIS 3G broadband too. its just at the same row with TMpoint in Taipan. I heard that if u plug in that 3G card u can access to the internet whereever u can receive MAXIS signal. Its like u receive mobile phone network. but its expensiv to buy the 3G card. it cost 300-400.
2 :
the best for a student like u will be streamyx from tmnet. well they have special offer for students where they only have to pay rm66 for a month! isnt it great?? im using it too..and the connection is really fast..go to any tmnet branch and ask for student price =)
3 :
i would say broadband streamyx rm99 a month package plan. Fastest connection and unlimited usage hours.
4 :
streamyx has the cheapest rates, and the widest area coverage as well. the service, however, leaves much to desire. Maybe things will start getting better when the other ISPs get more competitive.
5 :
streamyx is probably the most pick answer. even i'm using it now. anyway albeit it cheap it is kinda unstable at certain times. why don't you try maxis broadband?it is offered at RM 66 too for the same stds as streamyx. plus you don't have to pay for the rental fees for telekom if you opt for streamyx. anyways compare both of it first. another tip is don't take package RM 77 with modem included in streamyx. the modem is faulty and unstable. if you would like a modem buy d-link brand instead. slighlty expensive but worth it!!
6 :
here there is no such thing as the best because streamyx (TM NET) dominate malaysia market.
7 :
Stremyx, TMnet, jaring

The big difference: private or public university??? Tuition fees in public universities for a medical student will be somewhere around RM 2,500 (more or less) per semestre, that's excluding the hostel fees, and you have to pay non-recurrent fees as you enrol for your first semestre somewhere around RM 3000 - can be less, can be more (including your RM 1500 personal bond to immigration department). That's for international students, fees for local students are cheaper. Hostel fees vary from university to university. If you're talking about private universities, multiply that amount with 3, 4 or 5 and you'll get the idea o f the cost. Prices in private universities again depend on the university, some are expensive and some are very expensive. If studying medicine takes about 6 years, that's 12 semestres, than you can calculate the cost of the whole course: 3,000 + 12 * 2,500 = 33,000. That would be the fees for an international student, for local students it's cheaper. That's about the same as the annual fees in a private university. But another question is whether study of medicine in Malaysian public universities is open for international students...

first you should have never allowed the visa to expire. the real thing to do is leave the country and reapply and give your reasons for being late on leaving on your visa to get a new visa. if you want to try you need to file for the extention, give your reasons for being late and why you want to stay. then also file for the student visa with the same reasons, go here::: www.imi.gov.my/eng/perkhidmatan/im_HapusVisa.asp www.traveldocs.com/my/ projectvisa.com/countryinfo.asp?countrycode=my www.learn4good.com/travel/malaysia_visa.htm

you can go to your university international office to find out if they can help you. you can apply scholarships from that university. check with the university you will attend to find out if you are qualified for any of their scholarships. you can find on-campus job in the university you will attend. most school allow international student to work on-campus for 20 hours per week. they usually pay you us$5 or more per hour. you can work as an intern / co-op in a company that is willing to pay you. the best way to find one is thru the university career service center (if they have one)

NO its happening all over and the next style that people will realize is not "all that and a bag of chips " is Bjj ... leave it alone they will come back around in time everything else does.. its franchises and money that killed the sport you need to change with the times thats all learn everything.
5 :
Its over here in America too, the McDojos and Mc Senseis will destroy us all.
6 :
Organize non wimpy tournaments sparring based. I know what you mean about taekwondo's issues. I know its a good style because I've faught a practitioner that was extremely impressive but I've fought more that are jokes. Kung Fu has the same problem because it has alot of mcdojos these days and they like to teach the flashy kicks without teaching the basics but the thing is without basics the "flash is trash" Mat Mullins Also you could try persuading skilled martial arts instructors to teach in maylasia
7 :
17 years? man, it is time for a change. I am surprised that someone from the inside has seen what we on the outside have seen for the longest time. the best way to beat it is not to join it, but to find a better path.
8 :
If you love your martial art then get into contact with the best (Taekwondo) players and educators out there and invite them in or go to them with the people you work with and work out ideas to improve the situation. Personally i don't think more competitions will do the trick but improve the overall level of skill and attractiveness of the art perhaps will. good luck!

Students can have part time jobs in malaysia ?

Students can have part time jobs in malaysia ?
Students can have part time jobs in malaysia ? what about paymant? how much? what kind of part time jobs are availabe?
Malaysia - 6 Answers
Random Answers, Critics, Comments, Opinions :
1 :
yes they can. the payment depends on the job such as babysitter, waitress, cashier and many more.
2 :
Yes. Around RM3 - RM5 per hour. The kind of jobs are as what KiD had mentioned.
3 :
Yeah! students are allowed to have part-time jobs in M'sia. like KiD & Friday said above... usually the pay goes by the hour, RM3 - RM5 is the norm while some do offer higher rates per-hour like RM8. Hotels (F&B, room service), shopping malls, retail outlets and even i've seen some teens working as part-time car mechanics or part-time tutors.
4 :
Yeah, they can. My cousin worked at Giant during the holiday and made around 300 or so a month. While my brother, luckily, got a job at Pavillion as a PACKER [You know, after one's paid for the stuffs bought he'd put them into a plastic] and made MORE than 2000 a month! Not joking.
5 :
The most common are waiting at restaurants, sales attendants. The pay ranges from RM3-RM5 per hour
6 :
Yes. Students are allowed to work part time jobs. If you're a local you just have to show your local identity card & academic certificates (<-- whn required) made copies of it and submit along your applications. If you're a foreigner, make sure you have valid visa student card & request your residental academic instituations be it college or University for LETTER OF RECOMMANDATIONS. This is to avoid you from running into laws/rules & regulations as a student. I'm sure you don't want to get into trouble thn. get kicked out right? Among the jobs you can do:- [Non-professional category] sales promoters waiter/waitress (especially in Starbucks & Coffeebeans they pay pretty week esp. for OT, public holidays) hotel staffs (pay per hour RM5) [(Semi)Professional category] - data entry clerks (pay per hour depending to your typing speed) - part time programmer/developer (freelance pay method) - call center support officers In college/library:- Librarians Researchers Admins (usually pay RM5 per hour) You can check for vacancies on websites like www.jobstreet.com, www.jobsdb.com & other print media like your college notice board, The Star ad-post & etc. But make sure the biz. is valid & not some scam. Be vary of Multi-Level Marketing companies & Forex companies. Check before you apply & sign for anything. To Lynn - to compare Giant & Pavilion is like comparing a normal budget hotel to a 5 star hotel. Of course the pay is different, even the cost of expenses to go there & eat there is more. Especially during holiday seasons, they hv. to work longer hours *even including weekends & public holidays* so it's only rational Pavilion pays more since they can afford that.

Why the Malaysian government still allowing the Africans into Malaysia?

Why the Malaysian government still allowing the Africans into Malaysia?
Past few months , there was many articles published in the Star and NSTP about the African nuisance in Malaysia. Why they are not deported if most of them are involved in cheating wealthy Malaysian widows, divorcees or single mothers through various scams? How come most of them look so old above 50years old but the Malaysian government close eye believing them they are legitimate students. In fact all of the Africans are using fake scholarship and entering Malaysia daily. Why the education department and Immigration department is not doing anything about this matter?

You need to look for exchange programs in your country. I would suggest asking your school administrator ... they are usually the ones who know the reliable companies. For those companies who operate in the U.S., you can look at www.csiet.org. Not all of those will operate in Malaysia however. At 14, you are still a bit young to do this. While SOME organizations will accept you at that age (if you are 15 by the time your school year starts), I recommend waiting until you are 16. In fact, many U.S. schools are now NOT accepting 15-year-olds. This also gives you a chance to work on English (although yours seems pretty good!) and to mature a little. Good luck -- it's a fantastic opportunity and adventure!

Malaysians are an impressive, educated and creative people. But I think since your government and economy are somewhat oppressive, many of your people get tired of the crap and move to other countries. I've met several very successful Malaysians here in the US. Malaysia has a lot of potential. You should take care of you country. Lock up the criminals, make the people feel safe, get rid of oppressive laws and the people will do the rest. Freedom is everything.
3 :
For many Malaysian students read 'many Malay students' and they truly deserve a lot of sympathies. Even here, the Malaysian prime minister is shy of calling a spade a spade! Many young people have gone through schools and 'istitutions of higher learning' but can hardly be called educated. This is due to the education system or more appropriately the so-called national-type primary and secondary school systems staffed mostly by incompetent and uncommitted teachers who are themselves the products of the educational systems they thus cotinue to perpetuate. Improvements can hardly be expected or possible. Such schools enrolled mainly Malay students whilst the Indians and Chinese, if they can afford, go to independent schools. Every year, government schools produce so-called top scorers by the thousands but many of these youngsters can barely manage to write a simple letter or essay, let alone 'count.' When it comes to 'tertiary education', entry into colleges and universities is determined more by race than ability. The result is that one sees thousands of Malay students who passed through a different type of matriculation preparation entering varsities for mostly mundane courses like religious studies. For higher education enrolment, the mere suggestion of entry through a system of meritocracy will evoke very intense and emotional debate. The end result of such a system which continues to molly coddle one particular race is the production of thousands of 'graduates' who are themselves puzzled as to how they manage to earn a degree and are mostly unemployable. This is now a huge social problem with no immediate solution in sight. The irony is that most government leaders are fully aware of the root cause. However, because of their politics, cannot and will not do anything drastic to change the status quo except the occasional laments as evinced by Abdullah Badawi. Meantime, government statistics proudly show that Malaysia annually produces thousands upon thousands of secondary and tertiary graduates. Even more astounding is that many are given scholarships and sponsorships to pursue 'further' education in the countnry but usually outside to pre-selected universities. The simple ugly truth is that in satisfying the nationalistic fervour, quality or even merely practical education must take a back seat. The government wants to stay in power and will therefore not unset the education apple cart that will cost them any election. What about the problems of other races. Most Chinese and some Indians seek to be really educated and most are successful and definitely can better think out of the box. They do not have the luxury of a system that favours them and will therefore have to study and struggle extra hard to obtain a true education with degrees that have practical values in the job market either within or without the country. Malaysian government education system has a long way to go and the earlier the sitting powers can overhaul it the better it will be for future generations..
4 :
well the Malaysian education system is all tailored for the Malays to pass. nowadays the school whose teachers are also not very fluent with English are producing top students in 100"s. the ministers must know English first , if the leaders who are all senior politicians cant speak English how are they going to implement it on their students. the government has now reduced the standards in English and raised the standard in Malay thus making it easier for the Malays. the local university produces many Malay doctors and they cant really speak in fluent English as well. they have to stop this and concentrate as a whole the nation and the citizens and then maybe the students whom pass out will have some standard. they have to get proper teachers and then they probably see changes in the system. scholarships are 99 %for the Malays and so the good Malaysian who are Chinese and Indians don't get good tertiary education if they are not well off ,on the other hand the malays good or not get their education and go on in life. this system in malaysia sucks and that is why all the good educated non malays are leaving. we must remember education is not mugging and it is a matter of understanding ,only if you understand you can think out of the box.
5 :
It's a dilemma...really... If we want ppl to think out of the box, be more creating, etc... then we have to support it with proper and just environments.... But, if we limit them....for example, by having silly rules and policies, then the government, in a way, limits ppl from thinking out of the box. Consider the automotive creativity... if government restricts the policy that don't allow public from making own vehicle...then in a way, it restricts the ppl from being creatinve... Just my 2 sen thought..

You can register for your SPM exam as a private candidate. There will be advertisements in the local newspaper & the Malaysian Examination Syndicate website on January every current year. For further info, you can email to the MSE : pertanyaan@lpm.moe.gov.my
3 :
'An official with the Ministry of Education says formal schooling in this country is not compulsory by law. "We encourage parents to send their children to school but we can't force them to do so since eduation is voluntary," he says. On the issue of homeschooling, the official says the ministry has no jurisdiction over the matter. (The Star, Education Section, May 6, 2001) If this is the case, then we can safely say that homeschooling is indeed legal in Malaysia and it is the right of parents to educate their children whichever way they deem best for them. However, be aware that anything can happen and that the authorities could change their stand at any time that they deem fit. But so far, there has been no indication that the homeschooling status would be jeopardized. Homeschoolers in Malaysia have mainly been on their own. For this reason, FamilyPlace and a few other homeschooling families have started informal homeschooling network to help all those interested in homeschooling.' (I googled) you can email: educate@familyplace.com.my and ask them questions. "Compulsory attendance: Primary level education is compulsory Legal status of homeschooling: Homeschooling is allowed only with special permission from the Ministry of Education. The guidelines are still unclear. There has been no legal case thus far." Since it is bit lengthy procedures and it needs a lot of documentations from your colleges in India, I am afraid you may not be able to handle all from Malaysia. But you may start; shortlisting colleges & obtaining application forms online, preparation for cracking TOEFL & GRE etc from there. All the best. Here are the websites for your guidance: http://www.usastudyguide.com http://www.studyusa.com http://www.best-collegeusa.com
2 :
You don't apply for the visa until you get accepted into a US program. They will then issue the paperwork which you can take to the Indian embassy in any country. You will need to have just the paperwork and a letter from your bank showing you have the necessary funds for school and living expenses.

How much money shall I take with me for Malaysia, Kuala Lumpur?

How much money shall I take with me for Malaysia, Kuala Lumpur?
Dear people of the world, We are two students trying to visit Malaysia for international conference. We are really curious about how much money to bring with us to stay in KL for 4 days and enjoy the city sightseeings with traditional food tastes. 1)How much for daily food? 2)Is shopping expensive in there?Like if I want to buy like T-shirts ...other stuff... 3)How about local transportation? We would like to know the as minimum as possible, daily expense. Thank you so much... regards

1 :
I would work on a budget of about 50 $US a day each after your accommodation is paid. That should be plenty if you eat in local restaurants and use public transport. Clothes are relatively cheap in markets and some department stores out of the center of KL. Enjoy your trip!
2 :
kuala lumpur.. if you have RM50 (arround$20)per day is enough for transportation, meals, 1pc t-shirt. but if you go arround with your foreign face… I don’t think so. So, u must find someone (local) to guide you. It is because, buses are the cheaper transportation in kl. In order to go somewhere by bus, you must know the number of bus (each bus have number – number means destination) if you travel by taxi, rm50 is not enough. food: rm3 - rm7 permeal (if u go to hotel or fastfood restaurant - you can't get this price) t-shirt: rm5 - rm50 (night market is the best place to by cheap t-shirt etc) transportation: bus - rm2 for longest distance in kl. taxi - please no
3 :
If you're at the conference all day, and they provide lunch for you, then you only really need to worry about 2 meals per day. You can get a decent meal for 5-7 ringit on the cheap end of the scale, but at more western restaurants a dinner can cost at least 30 ringit. A ten-minute taxi ride in a regular taxi should cost around 5 ringit or so. The prices vary depending on where you shop. If you shop at Petronas Towers then it is extremely expensive. All in all I would suggest, with a decent amount of shopping, around 100 ringit per day. If you did not do much shopping, then I would suggest about 40-50 ringit per day. Thats about 400 over 4 days, or 200 without shopping. Have fun!
4 :
about MYR200 per day... 4 days make MYR800... change to USD, around $300... more than enough...
5 :
Ive been to Kuala Lumpur from Philippines three times now within the span of four years and I always like to explore and know the city and find ways to keep my expenses at most affordable , so heres what I found out and could be of great use to you guys; 1. In Kuala Lumpur the price of food in hawkers/vendor places and big malls food court are the almost the same , so my best advise go for food courts of malls. Nasi Lemak - Chicken rice and curry sauce with rice cooked in coconut milk in Kopitiam in Sogo Malls or any malls is 5 Ringgit , in any stalls almost the same . Chicken Rice or Hainanese Chicken - 5 to 6.50 Ringgit 1 USD = 3.34 Ringgit if your USD is in 100 denomination , for lower denomination exchange rates is lower. Buy your bottled water in Groceries almost all malls have groceries only 0.80 cents for 500 ml in groceries but in special stores can be 1.20 Ringgit . Usually if you follow my suggestion , you spend like USD 10.00 snacks included / pay for each person . 2. Shopping is not expensive in Malaysia , go to Sungei Wang for clothes , shoes , watches , hair cuts and games but be sure its original (they will tell you the truth if you ask) Also since its Visit Malaysia year now , so many dept stores are on Sale . For electronics go to Low Fat (??) behind Sungei Wang . Good food and great variety try the chicken fish barbecue ,are in Bukit Bintang at night , 3.Transportation is cheap and easy in Kuala Lumpur , they have MRT , Mono Raiuls , Buses and TAxis . From the airport to KL , I use the airport buses of Airasia and other buses it will cost you 9 Rinngit from LCCT (Low Cost Airport from the KLIA get a service bus that will bring you to LCCT ) to KL Sentral , also you could buy the Airasia SkyVan coupon for 9 Rinngit , these vans will be stationed in KL Sentral (where all trasport in Malaysia are stationed (trains , buses taxis )and upon alighting from Airbuses , hop on these Vans and they will bring you to your accommodation doorstep. Cheapest and most convenient. Taxis will charge you on contracted fee or taxi meter if you insist or coupons if available in KL sentral . If the route your taking is covered by Monborail , then you have to take it from accross the KL Sentral cost the most farthest route 2.50 Ringgit to Medan Tuanku. 1. Most economical hotel , go to www.tunehotels,com , they offer basic hotel , great bed , great shower in your room and best location and security . Most I paid for 3 nights in a double room is 149.00 Rinngit /3 nights plus 12 hours aircon which could be topped up . But you need to book like one month to get the best rate , the rates depend on when you booked . You could even pay like 9 Rinngit if you book like two months before . Happy Shopping and great finds in least expensive way in KL.
6 :
1)i dont know...maybe RM10 2)it depends on the places u go..if you go to places such as berjaya times square and KLCC,maybe u need about...RM500.but if you go to maidin, you can spend amout RM300.so does the Jalan TAR..u can try the tasty nasi lemak for RM1. in times square, there is a theme park called Cosmo's World Theme Park.it costs RM35 to enter.there are a lot of extreme games there such as roller coaster.you can buy tokens and join the motor race and dancing compettition.

how much does it costs to take my Maltese puppy with me from Malaysia to USA?
I need to know the approximate cost of taking my puppy from Kuala Lumpur in Malaysia to Iowa in USA (flight ticket). I am a student now and am really worried about the expenses as she is my everything

1 :
if you take your puppy in a carry-on bag, it will be considered hand-luggage and won't cost anything. bags like that will be available in pet stores. the thing to do is to let the vet sedate your puppy to make it sleep during flight, put the carry-on bag under the seat in front of you and you will have an enjoyable flight. you need to get full information on bureaucracy connected with import of animals into the united states. as i do not know how many stop-overs you will have, i further suggest that you stop by a vet at at least one transit airport to have him check whether the puppy is ok.
2 :
Do what the smart guy says to bring the dog over to US by a bag if you want to be in trouble. If you are taking Malaysian Airlines With over 1,248 sq metre of space, your animals or pets will have ample roaming space before their flight or upon arrival. They will be staying in the only animal hotel in Asia and one out of only three in the world. MASKargo facility accepts all kinds of animals . Your animals will be taken care of by our team of experienced and well-trained handlers providing constant supervision from acceptance to delivery or during transit. Extract above from MAS Cargo section, and you may care to refer to that for details: MASKARGO

I'm studying in Singapore (I'm American). My friends who go tend to visit just to shop or lay on the beach, or scuba dive. They tend to be from here (that age group is in their 30s, steady jobs, drive up for weekend trips). Or British/American (fellow students) who may skip a day of classes and make a long day of it - go up by coach and their average age is 20). Oh, it's also popular to pass through on the way to Thailand so as to see a few more things along the way (instead of just hopping on a plane). So, yeah a trip to Malaysia is sometimes used to slow the pace of a trip to another destination as well. My German friends who are working here (also in their 30s), do the weekend thing, by coach - just to see touristy stuff in KL and JB usually). Hope that helps :o).

One reason is that we can get some warmer weather. I live in an area that is cold and it rains and snows during the Fall and Winter. We drink a lot of hot Starbuck's coffee. I was glad to see that there is a lot of Starbuck's coffee in Malaysia, but I usually get a cold drink. We can find good hotels in Malaysia and we can swim in the pools and be in the sunshine. We like to find good food, see the art and architecture in Malaysia. Also we like to learn about the history. I have found that every city is different. We enjoy knowing people that have come from many different countries and live in Malaysia. I enjoy the diversity of the culture. We like to travel to see new places and meet people. Some of us are looking for adventure - we can always find it in Malaysia.

Is it not dangerous when 80% of the Chinese students are attending Chinese medium schools in Malaysia?

Is it not dangerous when 80% of the Chinese students are attending Chinese medium schools in Malaysia?
Salam, Most Malays (100%) are attending Malay medium schools and most Chinese (80%) are attending Chinese medium schools. Whose idea is this? Racial harmony in Malaysia is almost non-existence and national unity is already very bad. Our system of education futher aggravates the polarisation of races and we are moving surely towards a national disaster in the near future. Could we do something better or just leave it as it is and hope for the best? Salam. Wan Solehah al-Halbani

Probably any attempt to change the status quo at this time would stir up even more ill feeling. I don't believe that schools are polarising racism, but rather that the polarisation has made made ethnic groups want separate schools.

I have ab strong interest in the automobile industry. I hope getting bad results in biology doesn't affect my future involvement in the automobile industry (i'm aiming for mechanical and electronics engineering).

Is it possible to teach in Malaysia without a CELTA?

Is it possible to teach in Malaysia without a CELTA?
I have 3 years of experience in teaching English in my country, but now I'm having difficulties in finding a job as a teacher in Malaysia since I don't have a CELTA or TEFL. Is it impossible to teach English to adults without any? If not, what school can consider my application without these certificates? By the way, I don't need a job permit because I have my student visa here.
Malaysia - 2 Answers
Random Answers, Critics, Comments, Opinions :
1 :
You can still teach in tuition school.
2 :
You really should consider taking a TEFL certificate as this is pretty standard for most jobs and sooner or later you will need one whether it's for the next job or a job in a few years time. If finances are an issue you can think about taking it online (see http://icalweb.com). For Malaysia you generally need the certificate if you're teaching at a school. Otherwise it's just a matter of contacting all the schools on spec and seeing if they are desperate for a teacher and will take someone there and then. The problem here is that you will be looking at schools in the lower end of the market and as you've already got 3 years experience you might find their methods and the working conditions a little primitive!

WHY would you want to study in MUM in the first place? Most Australian degrees, including MUM offers only general degrees. You should be studying undergraduate courses such as UK degrees instead because they offer you Honours qualifications. The employers does not care which branded university you study. They only care about degrees that give industrial exposure such as industrial trainings, final year honours project. A general degree does not have such. Sad to tell you the truth but I have to -- all general degrees are merely equal to pass degree in honours degree classifications. That would be four ranks lower after 1st, 2nd upper, 2nd lower, and 3rd class! Don't waste your time chasing branded and well-marketed education brands. Instead analyst courses/ programmes that gives you the edge over your peers when you graduate. Think again.

Why the Malaysian government still allowing the Africans into Malaysia?

Why the Malaysian government still allowing the Africans into Malaysia?
Why the Malaysian government still allowing the Africans into Malaysia? Past few months , there was many articles published in the Star and NSTP about the African nuisance in Malaysia. Why they are not deported if most of them are involved in cheating wealthy Malaysian widows, divorcees or single mothers through various scams? How come most of them look so old above 50years old but the Malaysian government close eye believing them they are legitimate students. In fact all of the Africans are using fake scholarship and entering Malaysia daily. Why the education department and Immigration department is not doing anything about this matter? You mean to say the Education Ministry Officials and Immigrations officials has got vested interest in this matter? Why the anti corruption agency not investigating Education Ministry Officials and Immigrations officials ? Because Education Ministry Officials and Immigrations officials are approving student visas and allowing thousands of Africans to enter Malaysia.

The politics of Malaysia takes place in the framework of a federal constitutional monarchy, in which the Yang di-Pertuan Agong is head of state and the Prime Minister of Malaysia is the head of government. Executive power is exercised by the federal government and the 13 state governments. Federal legislative power is vested in the federal parliament and the 13 state assemblies. The judiciary is independent of the executive and the legislature, though the executive maintains a certain level of influence in the appointment of judges to the courts. The Constitution of Malaysia is codified and the system of government is based on the Westminster system. Malaysia has a multi-party system since the first direct election of the Federal Legislative Council of Malaya in 1955 on a first-past-the-post basis. The ruling party since then has always been the Alliance Party (Malay: Parti Perikatan) coalition and subsequently from 1973 onwards, its successor the Barisan Nasional (National Front) coalition. The Barisan Nasional coalition currently consists of the United Malays National Organisation (UMNO), Malaysian Chinese Association (MCA), Malaysian Indian Congress (MIC) and 11 other political parties. Although Malaysian politics has been relatively stable, critics allege that "the government, ruling party, and administration...are intertwined with few countervailing forces." However, since 8 March 2008 General Election, media's coverage on country's politics has been noticeably increased, making the politics more transparent to the citizens.
