Your difficulty in obtaining a tourist visa will be proving such strong ties to your own country that you feel compelled to return home after your brief vacation in the US. You've been living in Malaysia, not your own country. You don't even want to go home long enough to see your parents, family and friends after such a long separation before you get a visa elsewhere. You're a student. You do not have a job in your own country. You don't have money for a real vacation, either. You do not own property in your own country, or have anything else that could be considered ties to your own country. That makes you a big risk, with a high probability of seeking "backdoor immigration," i.e. intent to overstay your tourist visa, find a job and settle in. That violates immigration laws. You are pretty much an automatic denial for any visa to the US. Besides, if you are thinking of looking for a job in the US, over 500,000 Americans per week are losing their jobs. Even the illegal aliens are going home because there are no jobs.

First of all, you must have resident status in Malaysia to apply US visa at the US Embassy. If not, you have to go back to Kenya to apply for the visa. You should check with US Embassy in Malaysia for the eligibility for visa application. The contact information is in this website https://www.vfs-usa-my.com/Home.aspx
