My student visa expired on 14 june 2009 and am in malaysia untill the15 august 2009 , will i face any problems?
My student visa expired on 14 june 2009 and am in malaysia untill the15 august 2009 , will i face any problems?
will i face any problems in the immigration counter at the departure date which is 15/8/2009 , what should i do to avoid these problems

You have committed the crime of over-staying. You are likely to be detained for questioning when you try to depart...and then they decide what to do. If you go to the immigration office now to own up and explain things, you may be fined and asked to pay a penalty, then asked to apply for an extension of your pass - if you are still a student, you need confirmation from your school of study (the school should be able to assist you). If you are no longer a student, you need to provide proof that you have enogh funds to suppport yourself in the meantime, and a valid onward ticket. Anyway the first thing to do is to contact the Consulate/Embassy of your country.......NOW or the very first thing in the morning.....they should be able to help....

Not that you're caught, but to play safe get it renewed before then, or get changed to a tourist visa.

You will be arrested for overstaying in Malaysia by knowing that your visa had already expired on 14th June 2009. You will be jailed or fine accordingly by the immigration laws.
