How long does it take to apply a UK student Visa?
I am from Malaysia and i would like to know, How long does it take to apply a student visa? If I apply by Feb 2009.Is it possible that they will process the visa before March 2009?

if all the document have been furnished and are correct and you qualify financially,been approved in school or university. the consular services always make sure you will be on time for start of studies ,now? i cannot tell you when it will be approved?

the time is too short! just make sure you have everything ready and submit asap.your international medical insurance,new address with a letter form the person with whom you will stay or rent from on this time,letter from school stating you are admitted,payed receipt of school for term,bank account or parent´s own and letter where they say they will be in charge of your bills for the studying term.your pix. good luck! remember when you are in UK you have to go and register with the foreigners bureau and or police of your neighborhood.

The High Commission has the last saying but from my past experience it`s always good to apply three months ahead.

hi. im sarra. im from malaysia. recently someone has introduced me to the exchange student programme and im really excited as this programme is one of my dreams- to know other country cultures and custom. i want to join this programme with the scholarship but i have no idea how to be the best one to get the scholarship and to convince them tht i deserve for it. my country choices are egypt, japan and china.

Can any one give me any information about monash university in malaysia?
Can any one give me any information about monash university in malaysia?
I am a high school student. I obtained a result of 3A s 2B s and 1C in O Levels, and 2B s and 1D in AS level. I could not well in my A2, which I am planning to repeat this May. Do I have a chance at Monash University in Malaysia?

WHY would you want to study in MUM in the first place? Most Australian degrees, including MUM offers only general degrees. You should be studying undergraduate courses such as UK degrees instead because they offer you Honours qualifications. The employers does not care which branded university you study. They only care about degrees that give industrial exposure such as industrial trainings, final year honours project. A general degree does not have such. Sad to tell you the truth but I have to -- all general degrees are merely equal to pass degree in honours degree classifications. That would be four ranks lower after 1st, 2nd upper, 2nd lower, and 3rd class! Don't waste your time chasing branded and well-marketed education brands. Instead analyst courses/ programmes that gives you the edge over your peers when you graduate. Think again.

Why the Malaysian government still allowing the Africans into Malaysia? Past few months , there was many articles published in the Star and NSTP about the African nuisance in Malaysia. Why they are not deported if most of them are involved in cheating wealthy Malaysian widows, divorcees or single mothers through various scams? How come most of them look so old above 50years old but the Malaysian government close eye believing them they are legitimate students. In fact all of the Africans are using fake scholarship and entering Malaysia daily. Why the education department and Immigration department is not doing anything about this matter? You mean to say the Education Ministry Officials and Immigrations officials has got vested interest in this matter? Why the anti corruption agency not investigating Education Ministry Officials and Immigrations officials ? Because Education Ministry Officials and Immigrations officials are approving student visas and allowing thousands of Africans to enter Malaysia.

I don't think that IT graduate is the most hard finding job..i think there are lot's of opportunities out there for IT graduate's. Just browse through www.jobstreet.com.my and you will realize what i'm saying is through. IT graduate's are in big demand in Malaysia these days. About them being unemployed, that i'm not too sure. But that might well be the case since they are lots of sub-standard colleges offering IT courses mushrooming all over Malaysia. If you are on top of your field, the big MNC's like Intel, Dell, BMW Auto Bavaria, Accenture, etc will always welcome you with open arms. There's lots of openings in Malaysia for IT graduate's...

can i get a scholarship or loan or student exchange program(whatever u call it)to get into a good university in malaysia?if yes how is it ?i dont live in malaysia now. plzzzzz help me

google info of the univeristy and find out how u can. its all in the research

Local or private university? Make a list of your desire University & the course you're interested. The best is to email/contact those University admins directly. Bear in mind this process can take up to 3 weeks or more for them to gathering information of availability place, when the next intake & etc.

Forget about coming to the university in Malaysia. The government cannot even provide enough vacancies for its own people. Plus, you might as well spend your money to study elsewhere and get better quality education.

yea.. i agree with the other guy. Don't go to Malaysia for your education.. if you can't find a job in Malaysia and want to go overseas to work, they won't recognize your college degree from Malaysia... it's a waste. The government is so corrupt there.. ever hear of the rapes and robberies that result in death?? and ransom.. its terrible right now.. and the government isn't doing anything. Go to the United States or most people are emigrating to Australia. Much better there.

You ask a very unusual question. Before anybody can answer you, you have to first answer the following questions yourself. 1) I assume you are a Malaysia, are you a Malay? or non-Malay? The fact is government related scholarships are usually established for Malay only, merit performance come last, not first. 2) What is your reason of studying in Malaysia??? If you have read recent international survey, there is no more good university in Malaysia, the unique raced based system has push all its universities ranking to the record last. Like many local graduates, you will likely end up unemployed. 3) What major or subject you want to pursue? Again your skin colour plays the major role, courses like medical and laws are usually restricted to Malay or only top non-Malay geniuses, if you happen to be non-Malay and not a genius then you are likely given courses you can never think of, for example, socialogy, etc. I hope these questions can help you.
