Do you have any academic background & which country are you from? Because local universities/institutions usually teach their course in either Bahasa or English. Which one are you interested? Besides that's your budget?
2 :
Try the following : http://www.ucsi.edu.my http://www.nilam.edu.my There are many nursing school in Malaysia but i think most of them conduct their courses in the Malay language. Those 2 schools i mentioned above are private schools and they do conduct their courses in English. Contact them for further information.
3 :
Mahsa College http://www.mahsa.edu.my/student-inter.html
4 :
i think, LIMKOKWING university is the best...
5 :
There's Universiti Malaya. It was world reknown last time, but now it's totally screwed, There's Monash University in Bandar Sunway. There's the LimKokWing University too. There's Taylor's College in SS15, Subang Jaya. HELP University. Or you could just look it up in Google... "Education in Malaysia."

I'm on student visa in US,from Malaysia.Do I need visa to see Niagara Falls from Canada side just for a day?
My mum is also flying into US on tourist visa from Malaysia to see Niagara Falls. Will she also need visa to see Falls on Canadian side for a day? Is there a day pass visa whereby Canada and US have an agreement to allow international tourists to cross to the other side? Thank you.

yes You would need a visa..Its around 60$ per visit and 125$ for 6 mtnhs....And also make sure you get the I20 signed form your DSO and make sure you have 194 card with you too...I am not sure about your mom but she might also need i guess
2 :
According to http://www.skyteam.com/EN/travelPlanner/timatic/index.jsp you don't need a visa for Canada IF you have a permanent resident card from the USA. However, your mother definitely needs a visa.
3 :
Malaysian nationals do require a visa to enter Canada, so I would say that you would not be allowed entry without one. I know that all you are likely to want to do is go to the falls lookout and take the boat ride, or get a few pictures. But Canada Customs does not regard it that way. If you enter Canada, there is nothing stopping you from going to Toronto, or Montreal, or other cities once you are allowed in. It's silly for the average tourist, but it prevents those 1% of people who are coming here for other motives, like drug trafficking, terrorism, illegal immigration, or prostitution. So your choice is to get a visa for your mom (and probably for you too if it is just a student visa you have for USA), or just watch the falls from the American side. You may be able to get partially onto the Rainbow bridge, or take a helicopter ride over the falls, and not sure if the Maid of the Mist boat rides (or equivalent) are also available to Americans.
4 :
No you don't need a visa for one day... ----- BAM PROBLEM SOLVED -----
5 :
No
6 :
yes you will need a visa
7 :
You'll need a visa, but as a student, that isn't too difficult to get. Your mother will need a tourist visa, unfortunately this will be a pain in the ass to get, even if it's just for the day. Call the Canadian embassy and ask them.

Your difficulty in obtaining a tourist visa will be proving such strong ties to your own country that you feel compelled to return home after your brief vacation in the US. You've been living in Malaysia, not your own country. You don't even want to go home long enough to see your parents, family and friends after such a long separation before you get a visa elsewhere. You're a student. You do not have a job in your own country. You don't have money for a real vacation, either. You do not own property in your own country, or have anything else that could be considered ties to your own country. That makes you a big risk, with a high probability of seeking "backdoor immigration," i.e. intent to overstay your tourist visa, find a job and settle in. That violates immigration laws. You are pretty much an automatic denial for any visa to the US. Besides, if you are thinking of looking for a job in the US, over 500,000 Americans per week are losing their jobs. Even the illegal aliens are going home because there are no jobs.
2 :
First of all, you must have resident status in Malaysia to apply US visa at the US Embassy. If not, you have to go back to Kenya to apply for the visa. You should check with US Embassy in Malaysia for the eligibility for visa application. The contact information is in this website https://www.vfs-usa-my.com/Home.aspx

As a student, you are unlikely to get a loan, unless your college/university provides it .... Loans have to be repaid, with interest. For buying computers, ACER offers no-interest monthly payments - in your case, 12 X RM250.00. If you can afford that, buy an ACER ! An ACER laptop costs less than RM3,000. You can probably get one at RM1,899....RM2,399....or RM7,999. And pay monthly over 12 months.....so you onlyhave to pay som RM160.00 per month....Go to an ACER supplier .... http://www.acer.com.my

NO ! work pass is for work not study . unless for PART TIME STUDY , the answer is YES. you need to work for 8 hours a day for 6 day ? how you going for full time study >? also those " school " will not take you as full time student . except part time.
2 :
You cannot "study" on a work permit, unless it is for part-time study related to your work,[e.g. training] and sponsored by your employer. In this case, the Labour Dept and the Immigration Dept. may have to be informed [by your employer], If you are caught studying on a work permit, or working on a study permit, your permit will be canceled if you do not have very good and valid reasons. If you have a work permit and "abscond", your employer would report this to the Immigration Dept. [for his own good].... Learning institutions will require that you have a study/student permitbefore admitting you [including prepayment of full course fees for one year]....

Nothing stops you from applying, but it's usually easier to apply back home than when you're in another country. You'd have to prove to the satisfaction of the interviewing officer that you intend to return after a short stay. that may not prove easy, but it's not impossible.

Call or visit the Embassy. Fill out the appropriate paperwork and see what happens.
2 :
As a tourist visa i see why not. but you can check with the embassy and see what they say
3 :
As the two guys have pointed out, check the embassy's website as you will need a visa to visit Japan. They should list all the requirements for the visa.
4 :
I'm stunned at times when I see these types of questions. Really? you want Y! answer folks to help you figure out if the Japanese Embassy in Malaysia will give you a tourist visa given that a) you are a student and b) you have an Iranian passport How the heck would anyone here know? Either go to the embassy in person or call the (they have phones) and ask. But, in order to make sure my answer meets the guidelines my final answer is <drumroll please>: Maybe
5 :
You will need to apply for a visa at the embassy in Malaysia. I don't know whether they'll give you a visa though, it depends on many things. Your history (criminal, political) Your friend's history (criminal, political) how long you want to stay how much money you have and various other things that are totally unpredictable. But you can only find out if you try.

As the two guys have pointed out, check the embassy's website as you will need a visa to visit Japan. They should list all the requirements for the visa.

You will need to apply for a visa at the embassy in Malaysia. I don't know whether they'll give you a visa though, it depends on many things. Your history (criminal, political) Your friend's history (criminal, political) how long you want to stay how much money you have and various other things that are totally unpredictable. But you can only find out if you try.

i would strongly recommend University Teknologi Petronas(UTP) This year they will have about 100 final year students, and they have one of the highest statistic of second class upper and above among their graduates. For second choice, you can apply university teknology malaysia, the number of the final year student in IT this year is about 500, but most of results are 2.67 below. Besides, you can also try UNITEN, they have 150 final year student this year. And they have good lecturers.

Don't worry, they just give you a public beating and then deport you.

The answer by Jeffis quite right. From my own encounters as an eye witness. The malaysian police are the ones doing the checking around towns and cities here. Their normal "punishment" is to take ( rob ) your mobile phone , cash and valuables and let you go off with a "warning". If it is the Immigration officers, they only comes after you after they receives public complaints. Their usual corrupted "punishment " will cost you 2000 ringgit or malaysian money. Yes, they do beats you up if you can't pay them what they demanded. ( Not related to your question ) Hereby by answering your question openly here in Yahoo. Any Malaysian police or Malaysian Immigration dept can always challenges me and to show proof . Signed - Khun Pana
