Where's the best place to learn Bahasa Malaysia?
I'm looking for a good but cheap school to learn Bahasa in any major city in Malaysia and I would like to get an idea about living expenses for a student per month.

Before You Know It is a WONDERFUL PROGRAM.you can find them on the net. they will give you free trial programs and you get to hear out loud the pronunciations. It is an excellent program. You will find it is the easiest way to learn. They give you the basics for free and if you want to continue to learn you pay like a so cheap price of 35 bucks to down load the rest and it's a great program you will really love it. I am learning French, and Arabic on it now.

you may do what Rachel suggested. important thing is PRACTISE , both spoken and written practise until you can do thinking in the language or until you find yourself dreaming in bahasa malaysia hang around with those speaking that language - you need to learn the culture as well to master the language without this the best school in the whole universe can't help i'm advising myself also

Homestay to any parts of Malaysia. It is cheap though!

The government school is free, except for some money to buy exercise books.

You can learn online as well. Please try this website where it teaches you the meaning of the word and how to make sentences as well..
