hi , guys i am a student moving to malaysia please tell me can i buy a car of 4000RM in malaysia ? And also tell me do you use compressed natural gas in cars rather then using gasoline and diesel. and alo tell me can i get a driving liscence of malaysia???

You need an international licence to drive here. RM4000 can get an old car eg: Toyota Corolla.

You can buy a Perodua Kancil or a Proton Iswara from the early 90s for RM4,000 - 6,000. Most Malaysian cars run on gasoline, only the heavy vehicles such as trucks and buses use diesel. The use of CNG is rather new - mostly by taxis in Kuala Lumpur. You will find that the gas stations supplying CNG is few and far between. yes RM4000 will get you a junk car. btw if u manage to get a good one like merc, u can be sure it is a stolen car. depending on the car model, it can be consuming gasoline or diesel. compressed natural gas is not so common in private car but u can upgrade your gasoline car to it by spending a few thousands RM (to reduce gasoline cost). of course u can get a driving license. anyway, learn the 'rules' of getting it from the locals. if u have international license, probably u can drive here too ...

What happen to students where there sex video is leaked?
I'm just wondering what happen to those girls(eg: Sunway student from Malaysia, another case from Lim Kok Wing that involves a Taiwanese and a Malaysian). What is their parents reaction about that? I personally think that they should be punished in some ways. That is so inappropriate. What do you think?

I'm planing of going to college this year to study mass com.Bcs of my age will i be laugh at by those who are younger then me the 18-19 years old.Mass com student share ur experience pls?

Enroll mate. You're never too old to learn or go back to school. I'm not sure how it is in Malaysia but here in Canada most people take one or more years off to start a life before going back to do college.I imagine it's pretty much the same there There are a lot of adult students going back, especially in these tough economic times. I'm 26 and am currently upgrading (retaking high school graduation level courses) and going into journalism. There are a few people in my class who are over 40. In any case, who cares if a few do laugh at you? If you're wanting to better yourself, go for it. It will be far better in the long rung for you.

I experienced this before. 25 years old man that study in my college while most of the student include me is around 18-20 It's better for you to enter Open University because there are a lot of "old" people there. If you still want to enter other college just act matured and everyone will respect you. Plus they will appoint you as leader in most situation

Don't be afraid to start college at 25. At first the younger students may raise their eyebrows but you should not feel embarrassed. When I was in uni many years ago, there were many older students ranging from late 20s to 40s. We actually respected them for their ambitious move to improve themselves academically. In fact, very often we seek their advice and opinions on a lot of matters. So, don't be insecure, go ahead, do yourself proud and earn your degree.

actually..im not really want to stay there. i just interest to join the exchange student programme for 2 months. and my first choice is egypt. i wanna go there as i wanna know about their culture and customs. but i hv no idea how to convince the'judges' to give me the scholarship. anyone has brilliant idea?

Propose that you will write a paper on how some facet of their coulture/economic situation/social structure contrasts with ours. Of course, you'll have to do a little research while there...and you'll have to write the paper, but they eat this stuff up.

ok I am Egyptian and living in Cairo,the capital... do not say wowww ohhh I wanna go to Egypt because thy have pyramids and civilization and stuff :D you must convince them by making them believe that you are the best representative to Malaysia in Egypt,better then other student.....How? you must do some research about relations between the 2 countries,and this depends on what do you really study? could you give me more information? you should focus on similarities not differences between the 2 countries....mmmm in cultural,economic and so on.... hope this helps :) but give me more info :D thanks

What is the cheapest rate for flights from KL (Malaysia) to Frankfurt? I'm traveling in July and August.?
I'm still a student with limited budget. This is my first time travel to Europe. From Frankfurt, what is the cheapest transport to go to Berlin? What is the cheapest accommodation that i could possibly get if i'm traveling alone? If i only have a week, what are the must-visit cities in Germany? I need more details to plan my budget then only decide on where and how many days to travel in Germany. Please kindly give me some advices. Thanksss...

Where are you goping to test games in Malaysia? And wouldn't it cost a bit if the closest place to do it is somewhere in China? All that travelling? Why did you choose to study in Malaysia?

Have you any experience in testing methodology? White-box or Black-box reporting? Are there any testing tools you're familiar with? It's not just playing games and reporting bugs. You might want to do some research and find out what the job requires, get some experience, then send your resume to every company that makes a game that interests you. Chances are they have enough on-site testers that they need, but you can always hope to get started as an unpaid beta tester and build up experience that way.

yeah you can, it's just you possibly won't be a tester for a paid games, and thus you won't get paid either, mind that if your intention is to get money while testing, if it's just for fun, go ahead. The easiest is in an open source games, they usually needs tester and are happy to accept any tester. But an open source games is quite rare though

If you think I'm joking, I'm not. On average, every 2 people that come out of carrefour subang (for example) carry 3-4 bags. A person, on average, may use in excess of 20 bags, big and small. Now, say the government imposes taxes on plastic bags. Hypermarkets start charging people 50 cents per large bag instead of wantonly grabbing a bag and charging them for it. By very simple economic principles, plastic bag use will drop very dramatically. And it works. shops in Ireland charges 15 euro cents per bag now, and usage has dropped 95%. Australia is trying to the same thing. Carrying your own bag is no hassle; whatever item I can shove into my backpack I won't ask for an extra bag (i'm a college student). An empty plastic bag can easily fit into a pocket if you don't have a bag. Think about it. And got any better ideas?

Australia is trying to do the same? I am not aware of this. here we have 'go green' bag. almost all grocery stores sell them. of course we have to pay around 99 cents for a bag (im just guessing.it was a really long time ago) but we can use over and over again. its better than plastic bag bcoz it is environmentally friendly. u can also shove it in ur handbag. u can scrunch it, punch it, fold it, and u can still use it. here is the bag. http://i.treehugger.com/files/go-green-bag.jpg i dont know if this is available in malaysia.

I will, but i prefer bringing my own bag. I won't ask for plastic bags if the items i bought is small enough to put in my bag.

I'd usually say 'no' to plastic bags if I'm buying items I could carry on my own and I'll keep them in my bag (yeah I usually carry a pouch or a day pack with me, no joke)... Believe it or not, we ARE paying for the plastic bags. Its all in those little numbers we often overlook on the price tag and receipt, and it doesn't say 'plastic bags' of course...

Absolutely agree with you. Many countries now make consumers pay for plastic bags or paper bags by law, to reduce wasteage, recyling, and for environmental friendliness. And all such bags are made from recycleable and environmentally friendly materials as well. I'm for it 100%. And I can see taht Malaysia should be made into law for these reasons as the wasteage and environmetal problems for plastic bags is very very bad.

for sure I will pay, if I have the option to provide my own. Anything to keep our wonderful country clean and pristine, I am all for.

I think that in Malaysia, it is relatively convenient for consumers not to be given plastic bags. For example, Giant hypermarket always has their carpark close to exits where you can just reload your merchandise back into the trolley and wheel it to your car. (Majority of us drives, dont we.) PLUS, hypermarkets do not charge for the use of trolleys which means that we do not need to return it to specified locations and we can just chuck your trolley aside when we load our merchandise into our car boot. I think government should start by implementing "Green days" where plastic bags will not be given for free and encourage people to bring their own shopping bags. Slowly. the government can educate citizens on the Reduce principle in the 3Rs (Reduce, reuse, recycle) However, we still need plastic bags for our trash. Thus, charging for plastic bags results in a reduce in supply of plastic bags in households and may create other problems. Much is required to be done before the tax is finally implemented. Government must ensure that citizens understand WHY and HOW they can practise 3Rs. Follwed by implementing this slowly such as giving plastic bags only on request or NOT giving on certain designated days.

Whatever said and done, it will never happen in Malaysia. Malaysians are just ignorant and have no feeling towards the environment. The only day Malaysia will change is that a large meteor hit Malaysia killing the 24 million population leaving behind 2 million population to come up with a new bred.
