You may contact the nearest Malaysian embassy/consulate or search in the Internet. Hopefully you 'll get some info.
2 :
you can find it at this web site. Sarawak Bagus!

See here: http://answers.yahoo.com/question/index;_ylt=Avp.a0Zpg2eMFiqkMSnax38P7RR.?qid=20070822103435AASPZAz The question is not which universities are good to study medicine, but which universities have opened their medical stream for international students. SaraBagus mentioned Unimas... Its medical stream isn't open for international students, like most of Malaysian universities, and on top of that Unimas is one of the worst places in Malaysia to study medicine. IIUM is open for foreign students for sure, but it's a private university so you'll have to bear with the costs.

international medial university in bukit jalil minimum = 50k RM per year maximum = 75k RM per year
5 :
Fakulti Perubatan Ijazah (Doktor Perubatan) Period of Study : 5 years Fees : Approximately USD 9000

Go to www.monash.edu.my Monash University Malaysian campus in Bandar Sunway, but when you get your degree it just says Monash University so it is the same as the one you get after 5 years of study in Melbourne, Australia. Slightly cheaper than IMU (International Medical University) in Bukit Jalil. It is around RM60,000 a year at Monash, if unsure just check the website I gave above. Once you enrol, the fees are fixed for your entire course. There are two semesters a year, 3.5 months per semester. The new campus was completed in June, medical faculty is spanking new. However, you can stay in the hostel although I do not recommend it due to high rent but curfew where you must return by 12a.m. You aren't allowed to cook in hostels and the food sucks at the same time it is very expensive - so might as well cook yourself, or eat in shops near your apartment.

What is the best Internet Service Provider in Malaysia?
What is the best Internet Service Provider in Malaysia?
I'm a student at Sunway University College and I would like to register for a phone line and an internet connection, can anyone tell me what the best companies are? and how can I get in touch with them? I live in Lagoon View, they don't have internet here. I have a signal from somewhere, but it's driving me crazy. it's very unstable and sometimes it doesn't work at all for hours. So I decided to have my own connection. By the way, I'm BITC 1st Sem. here is my e-mail add in case you wanna keep in touch Samir2677@yahoo.com. See Yah!

hey im a sunway college student too.. taking CIMP, wat about u? well, the best one is Streamyx, but they suck too. get to the nearest TMpoint in taipan.. its not too far from college. but the indian taxi drivers usually charge rm10 one way.. u can try MAXIS 3G broadband too. its just at the same row with TMpoint in Taipan. I heard that if u plug in that 3G card u can access to the internet whereever u can receive MAXIS signal. Its like u receive mobile phone network. but its expensiv to buy the 3G card. it cost 300-400.
2 :
the best for a student like u will be streamyx from tmnet. well they have special offer for students where they only have to pay rm66 for a month! isnt it great?? im using it too..and the connection is really fast..go to any tmnet branch and ask for student price =)
3 :
i would say broadband streamyx rm99 a month package plan. Fastest connection and unlimited usage hours.
4 :
streamyx has the cheapest rates, and the widest area coverage as well. the service, however, leaves much to desire. Maybe things will start getting better when the other ISPs get more competitive.
5 :
streamyx is probably the most pick answer. even i'm using it now. anyway albeit it cheap it is kinda unstable at certain times. why don't you try maxis broadband?it is offered at RM 66 too for the same stds as streamyx. plus you don't have to pay for the rental fees for telekom if you opt for streamyx. anyways compare both of it first. another tip is don't take package RM 77 with modem included in streamyx. the modem is faulty and unstable. if you would like a modem buy d-link brand instead. slighlty expensive but worth it!!
6 :
here there is no such thing as the best because streamyx (TM NET) dominate malaysia market.
7 :
Stremyx, TMnet, jaring

The big difference: private or public university??? Tuition fees in public universities for a medical student will be somewhere around RM 2,500 (more or less) per semestre, that's excluding the hostel fees, and you have to pay non-recurrent fees as you enrol for your first semestre somewhere around RM 3000 - can be less, can be more (including your RM 1500 personal bond to immigration department). That's for international students, fees for local students are cheaper. Hostel fees vary from university to university. If you're talking about private universities, multiply that amount with 3, 4 or 5 and you'll get the idea o f the cost. Prices in private universities again depend on the university, some are expensive and some are very expensive. If studying medicine takes about 6 years, that's 12 semestres, than you can calculate the cost of the whole course: 3,000 + 12 * 2,500 = 33,000. That would be the fees for an international student, for local students it's cheaper. That's about the same as the annual fees in a private university. But another question is whether study of medicine in Malaysian public universities is open for international students...
